Buzzards class are a mix of Year Three and Year Four children. Buzzards class teacher is Miss Powe and they are supported by Mrs Kent Smith. Pupils are also fortunate enough to have a music session with Mrs Buckley and a PE session with Achieve4All once a week. We aim to encourage the pupils love of learning by ensuring lessons are fun and engaging. Pupils work with everyone in the class to give them the opportunity to build relationships with everyone.

A smooth transition from Key Stage One is vital. We use a multi-sensory approach to develop key skills such as spelling, fine-motor control and recall of times tables. We encourage pupils to work collaboratively and to develop their resilience through problem-solving.
